of the business community by promoting tourism and business development through
legislative advocacy, marketing services, networking opportunities and

Promoting Tourism
Tourism is the key to all County businesses and the Chamber heavily
invests in it. The Vacation Guide, Welcome Center and Website are
the primary investments. The Cape May County Chamber distributes
100,000 Jersey Cape Vacation Guides annually, purchases print
advertising, attends travel shows and keeps in touch with our visitors
through email marketing. The County Chamber is involved with many
local and state organizations to help determine the best practices for
promoting tourism to our area.

Marketing Services
The County Chamber offers a variety of quality, affordable
advertising and marketing options whether you want to reach businesses
or tourists. Including, direct mail, email blasts, web site
sponsorships, Jersey Cape Vacation Guide and Street Map print
advertising. Additionally the County Chamber offers brochure
distribution and display advertising through our Garden State Parkway
Welcome Centers.

Legislative Advocacy
Legislative and business issues are routinely monitored by the County
Chamber for the benefit of the members. The Chamber is recognized as the
voice of the business community for Cape May County. Our
Legislative Affairs and Environmental Committees are active in
supporting or opposing legislation and regulation as it pertains to the
business community. The County Chamber acts as the eyes and ears
of the business community.

Networking Opportunities
Networking is what we do best, whether it’s the Expo, Rapid Fire,
Mixers or Monthly Meetings, you’ll find plenty of opportunity. The
County Chamber schedules these events at various hours of the day to fit
your schedule. Chamber members routinely acknowledge that
networking and word of mouth marketing opportunities are crucial to
their business.

Professional Development
We believe in continuous education for our members. The
quarterly Business, Bagels & Banter series and annual Women in
Business Conference are just two of events accomplishing
this goal. Look for other special events that will inform you on
topics important to your business. Previous topics have included, Grant
Writing, Customer Service, Internet Marketing, Employee Issues and Sales
Presentations just to name a few.
